Geoffrey specialises in personal injury work and is regularly instructed by both claimants and defendants, especially local authorities, in a wide range of claims. He has a sub-specialism in industrial disease claims, particularly noise induced hearing loss claims.
Geoffrey has considerable experience of acting in civil claims against the police and is also regularly instructed in police disciplinary actions.
He also has experience of representing both prosecutors and defenders in disciplinary matters brought against lawyers and financial professionals. Geoffrey has a busy professional negligence practice and has substantial experience of acting for both claimants and defendants.
Geoffrey has represented several local authorities in claims for property damage caused by flooding.
He has also acted in a number of claims arising from alleged historical sexual abuse or physical or emotional neglect and is noted for his work involving claims for breach of the Human Rights Act.
